|The college has held common enrollment and registration day for all classes on 27th July ,2019 . Society carried out its registration process on the same day. Students from various classes enrolled themselves for the society.|
A poster making competition was held on 6th February ,2019 . The students participated with their colors
An inter class power point competition was held on 5th February ,2019 in college seminar room. The students were asked to submit their PPTs on the issues such as domestic violence , discrimination against girl child ,female foeticide etc . Students participated with zeal and enthusiasm . A total of 10 PPTs were accepted as per theme and suitability. Jaspreet Kaur of BBA-II got first prize and Arpit of B.Com -2 bagged 2nd prize .
|An inter college poetry competition was held on 13th October,2018 . The theme for the poetry was mutual respect for gender roles in the society and gender sensitivity. The chief guest for the day was Lilly Swarn , a poetess of eminence .The judges for the day were Ms. Jyoti Seth from PGGCG-42 , Ms. iqbal Judge professor at PGGCG -11 Chandigarh and Mr.Sanjeev Gulati , State Co-coordinator , “Chandigarh child and women development Corp”,Chandigarh . The total 22 participants were there from SGGS , Sector- 26 ,Regional Institute of English -32 , PGCG-42 and GGDSD -32 ,DAV -10 and Govt home science college for competition from tri-city colleges. The participants were awarded with mementos and certificates.

In order to orient the students into the new environment of college and to sensitize them an orientation was held in Room No. 5 on 27.08.2018. The students eagerly enrolled themselves for gender sensitization society members.

The girl students of college participated in helmet rally organised by traffic police Chandigarh on 26th April 2018. The rally was organised on the theme to motivate girls to wear helmets because their safety is of immense importance.The 12 students participated along with their two wheeler and helmets.
